This is our process:

I. Book the date.

Once you’ve decided on a service, date, and time, you’ll fill out an inquiry form. I’ll reach out to schedule a quick chat so we can go over all the fun details together! We’ll talk about your vision, budget, and availability to make sure everything fits perfectly.

Once everything is confirmed, a contract and deposit will be required to officially reserve your date. These must be completed within one week of your booking being approved. If the deposit and contract aren’t received within that timeframe, your date will open back up to other clients.

II. What to expect.

We’ll keep open communication leading up to your special day! I’ll help with outfit advice if you’re not sure what to wear, share my location guide, and send you plenty of posing inspo. My biggest goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process — whether it’s your first photoshoot or your tenth and to truly build a friendship with every client I work with.

After our session, you’ll receive sneak peeks within 72 hours so you have something to enjoy while you excitedly wait for your full gallery. Please refer to the FAQ section for more information!

III. Deliver memories.

After your session, I’ll work diligently to edit and deliver your photos through a private, customizable online gallery that you’ll receive via email. Delivery time frames depend on your service, but typically range from 3–4 weeks. I edit each client’s gallery in the order it was booked to ensure everyone is treated fairly. Please make sure to book with enough time before you’d like to receive your final gallery I truly pour time and love into every photo so your images never feel rushed.

Once your gallery is ready, you’ll be able to download all your images in full quality directly to your devices. Be sure to download them instead of screenshotting, as screenshots reduce image quality (and I want your photos to look their absolute best!).

Do you require a deposit or retainer?

A deposit serves as a commitment fee to ensure your date is reserved specifically for you. The nonrefundable deposit is typically 25% of the total package price and is due after booking and consultation. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session.

Please note that editing will not begin until full payment has been received. This ensures your images are processed and delivered in a timely manner.

For wedding photography, payment terms are slightly different since these dates require extensive preparation and secure your spot well in advance. A nonrefundable deposit of 35% is required to reserve your wedding date, and the remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day.

What does the editing process look like?

Trust me, I can’t wait to rush home and see your photos too! My editing usually takes 3–4 weeks, and I edit galleries in the order they were booked, so everyone gets the same love and attention. Sneak peeks will be sent within 72 hours of your session, giving you something to get excited about while you wait for the full gallery.

I put so much time and love into every single photo. My editing style is all about authenticity and true-to-life tones — I’ll fix little things like hair flyaways, tiny blemishes, or dirt on your outfit, but I don’t do anything heavy-handed or alter your images. My goal is to capture you, beautifully and naturally, so your photos feel just like you.

How do I book a photography session?

Booking a session with me is super easy! First, you’ll fill out my inquiry form so I can get all the details about your session. After that, I’ll reach out to you through your preferred contact method to chat about your vision, answer any questions, and help you pick a date and time that works perfectly. Once everything is set, we’ll lock in your session and start planning all the fun details!

What Should I Wear?

Choosing the right outfits for your photoshoot is key to creating timeless, beautiful images. I recommend sticking to neutral or soft colors and avoiding patterns or bright colors. Coordinating outfits with your partner is also important to create a harmonious, cohesive look.

What is the cancellation/ rescheduling policy?

Please note that security deposits are nonrefundable. For regular sessions, I kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled session time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will be subject to a rebooking fee of $50, except in cases of inclement weather. Last-minute cancellations make it difficult for me to fill your time slot, which directly impacts my small business. I completely understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and truly appreciate your understanding of these policies.

For weddings, due to the extensive planning and preparation involved, cancellations must be communicated as early as possible. Your wedding deposit is nonrefundable, and the remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day. If a wedding is canceled after full payment, the deposit is retained to cover holding your date, and any remaining balance may be subject to the terms outlined in your contract.
